Ledger

Built by Atriqa — in development

A paper diary, a WhatsApp chat, an Excel sheet, and the insurer portal.

That combination works — until your book crosses 300 policies. After that, things start falling through the cracks.

The current state

This is not a hypothetical. It is the documented way most advisors run their book today.

Most agents still manage renewals through a paper diary plus a WhatsApp pinned-chat plus an Excel sheet plus the insurer portal.

Agenex, on how Indian insurance agents work today

Even when using Excel or Google Sheets, you still need to manually update entries, automatic reminders don't go out, and accessing data on mobile is difficult. Merging data from one spreadsheet to another is a headache.

Agenex

Without a reliable system to track brokerage across multiple AMCs, distributors struggle with reconciliation and mismatch issues.

AssetPlus, on MFD commission reconciliation

None of this is a discipline problem. It is a tooling gap — and it compounds with every policy you add.

The mechanism

How it actually works

  1. 01

    Import your book

CSV, Excel, or a CAS PDF. Map your columns once, save the template, preview every change before it commits. Every import is reversible.

  2. 02

    The system watches the calendar

Premium due dates, AMC reconciliation deadlines, birthdays — tracked against a due calendar you never have to remember to check.

  3. 03

It drafts, checks, and hands it to you

Every message is pre-written and pre-cleared against the compliance filter. You review and send it yourself.

  4. 04

    You ask, instead of hunting

“Whose premium is due this week?” on Telegram gets an answer in seconds — no dashboard to open first.

What it does

Seven modules. One replaces the diary, WhatsApp, Excel, and the portal.

Commission & reconciliation

The six-month clock nobody is currently tracking.

Distributors have six months from an AMC's commission payout to raise a mismatch. After that, the AMC's figure is final. The system computes what you're owed from your rate tables, matches it against what AMCs and insurers actually paid, flags the variance, and counts down the dispute window with escalating alerts before it closes — for every AMC, every period, at once.

  • Expected vs. received, side by side — never a single asserted “true” figure
  • Variance flagging with likely cause: wrong ARN mapping, wrong distributor code
  • B30 incentive payouts tracked as their own lagged stream, so a delayed quarterly payout doesn't read as an error

Renewals

One calendar. Every policy, every insurer, every line.

A unified due calendar replaces the diary. An escalating nudge ladder — thirty days out, fifteen, seven, three, one, then overdue — drafts the reminder for you. Lapse-risk scoring flags the policies most likely to slip before they do.

AUM & business intelligence

Why did my income change this month?

AUM moves with the market even when a client does nothing. The system separates what changed because of new money in or out of the book from what changed because of the market itself — a decomposition no incumbent product offers.

Client 360

Every policy and folio, in one place, per family.

All policies and folios for a client, grouped by family, with consent status tracked separately for servicing, marketing, and AI-assisted outreach — never one blanket checkbox.

Import

Your spreadsheet is the starting point, not a rewrite.

Guided column mapping, saved as a template per source. A dry-run preview before anything commits. Every import can be undone. CAS PDFs parse directly.

Relationship engine

The moments that keep a book, not just service it.

Birthdays, anniversaries, policy milestones, review meetings — never called a 'portfolio review' in mutual fund context, by design. Drafts are generated, checked, and handed back to you to send.

Compliance engine

The system that protects your licence, not just your calendar.

Every draft is checked for advice-like language and return claims before it can be sent. Mandated disclaimers are appended automatically. Every check writes to an append-only log — the record that stands behind you in an audit.

Ask, don't hunt

Full capability, in plain language, on Telegram.

Advisors do not open dashboards daily. So this is not built around one. Ask questions the way you'd ask a colleague:

  • Whose premium is due this week?
  • What's my AUM now, and why did it drop?
  • Show me everything on Sharma ji.
  • Which commissions are unreconciled past five months?
  • Draft a birthday message for tomorrow's birthdays.

Proactive by default: a daily due digest, dispute-deadline warnings, lapse-risk alerts, and reconciliation variances — delivered before you ask.

The system never messages your client. It reminds you to.

The licensed human stays the accountable party for every outbound message — that is the compliance posture, and it is a deliberate product decision, not a limitation.

Distributor-funded, not AMC-funded. There is no fund or product we are incentivized to steer you toward.

Where this stands today

In development. Built in the open, with the advisors who will use it.

This product does not exist as a finished system yet. The data model above — AUM as a time series, commission rates as tables, the six-month dispute clock, the compliance filter — is designed and largely built. What's missing is the shape only a real book of business can give it.

If you book a meeting, you are not requesting a demo of a finished product. You are one of the first people shaping what it becomes.

Questions

Before you book

Is this built yet?
No — it's in active development. The architecture and data model are designed; the servicing and compliance workflows are being built now. Booking a meeting puts you at the design-partner stage, not the customer-support queue.
Does the system ever contact my clients directly?
No. It drafts and checks every message, then hands it to you to review and send. You are always the one who presses send.
Is this advice software?
No. It is a servicing and compliance system for distribution — it does not generate investment recommendations, performance projections, or return assurances, and every draft is checked against that before it reaches you.
How is my clients' data protected?
Financial PII is encrypted at rest, access is scoped per advisor, and every bulk data read and financial write is logged. Production client data is planned to run on a dedicated, isolated instance separate from any other Atriqa system.
Does this work for both mutual fund distribution and insurance?
Yes — one system, two modules, because most Indian advisors run both.
What about UAE?
The system supports a UAE jurisdiction selector at onboarding (mainland, DIFC, ADGM) — each with its own applicable data and disclosure rules.
What does it cost?
Pricing is set per engagement, not published. Book a meeting and we'll scope it against your book.

Tell us the size of your book. We'll take it from there.

Fifteen minutes. No pitch deck — a conversation about what's actually breaking in your renewals and reconciliation today.
